- In time for Thanksgiving, OBI contributed towards Here's Life Inner City's Boxes of Love outreach. Sixteen thousand families directly effected by September 11th's events were the recipients of a box filled with items including a turkey or ham, canned corn, beans, and yams, as well as stuffing and pie.
- 30,000 sets of coveralls were procured and then delivered to relief teams working at Ground Zero. Due to contaminates, a relief worker's outerwear is incinerated after each shift.
- In partnership with OBI's Dallas and New York center, volunteers from Texas' Rhema Ranch Ministries began serving thousands of free hot barbecue meals to rescue and relief teams on September 21st. They are now serving firefighters and police in Nino's Italian Restaurant, which is closed to the public, nearly 24/7.
- More than six of OBI's Hunger Strike Force tractor trailers have delivered 210,000 pounds of relief items including 500 respirators, blankets, dog booties for rescue animals, snacks, energy drinks, gloves, and generators directly to Ground Zero. None of the supplies delivered by OBI are being warehoused for removal.

Aiding Washington, DC...
Our Washington, DC center assisted Arlington firefighters and their families with food relief as they volunteered at the Pentagon. Rescue workers were also provided with drinks and snacks immediately following September 11th's events.
